As the host of the 15th Asia/Oceania Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting, it is a pleasure having you for this meeting. We honored and thank you very much for coming and hope you enjoyed the stay in Sri Lanka.

Dear Visitor

Welcome to the official website of the 15th Asia/Oceania Region Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sport. . The meeting was hosted for the first time by the Sri Lankan Government in co-operation with the Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency (SLADA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on 18 - 19 of June 2018 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This was an important opportunity to facilitate discussion of anti-doping related matters within the region.

Many countries in Asia and Oceania have embraced the anti-doping movement. Much has been achieved, but there is still more to be learnt and accomplished through co-operation and collaborative proactive efforts to fulfill our obligations under the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code (the 2015 Code) and the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport (the Convention).

  • WADA's Strategic priorities.

  • How Code compliance monitoring supports capacity building.
